Whats in my make up bag/ Make up reviews :)

even though my make up collection keeps growing and now they have their own big drawer instead of being a tons of make up bags i still have my every day make up in their own bag on my dresser so i dont have to go through multiple plastic bags trying to find what i need. once i get moved into my new house and can find another more unique prettier set up for my make up the sandwich and gallon plastic bags can be put to rest and my most loved things can be easier to find. now on to my every day make up !

My prior to make up routine consists of 2 things:
-Garnier skin renew Anti-puff eye roller - I love this because i have the worst time sleeping and my son loves to wake me up constantly for something to drink so i usually have ungodly dark circles under my eyes and when i wake up they do tend to get kinda puffy but this defiantly helps , it has caffeine in it and the ball is nice and cold so it wakes up my eyes enough for me to re-purchus this .
-Skindinavia " No more shine" make up finish setting spray - Okay so i have extremely oily skin and for years right after i finish my make up my face is shiny and looks like plastic regardless of me just powdering but then i discovered this setting spray and i must say THIS IS my holy grail . you spray two- three times before foundation and same after your done with your make up and it DOES NOT mess up your make up. But Honest to god i only have to blot one or two times a day now because of this stuff its amazing and almost completely takes care of my shine :)

i have three foundations a alternate through depending on the look i want.
- Bourjois Healthy mix foundation # 53 light beige -for  more natural glowy skin with medium coverage. also this is only out in the UK as of now and i really wanted to try this because of the hype about it so i found it on ebay.
-Skin79 Super triple functions B.B cream -i ts in between a Tinted moisturizer & Foundation and it has whiteners in it to help with hyper pigmentation , acne scars , dark spots so when i just wanna wear a foundation i throw this bad boy on to even out my skin and help whiten my acne scaring.
-Bare minerals matte foundation "fairly light"- if i want full coverage then ill put this over what ever other foundation im wearing and it mattes out my skin and makes for a good finishing powder but alone it has really good coverage and because its pure minerals it is good for your skin , you could sleep in it if you wanted to & its water proof.

after i do my foundation i finish with :
- Bare minerals mineral vail 

i've been on the search for a good concealer but haven't found my holy grail yet unfortunately
but as of now these are what are in my bag:
-Lo'real true match concealer " neutral"- what i like about this is that it has an applicator and its liquidly but has good coverage , also its the only concealer that is closest to my shade.
-Benefit erase paste #1 Fair- i found this to be too light and it brightens my eyes but it doesn't have the full coverage effect i was looking for  but this is a good under eye concealer.
-Laura Mercier secret concealer #2- Now this concealer scared me to death lol i dont have anything around me to locally pick this up to find the right color so i got # 2 which was entirely too dark for me right now , maybe in the summer but not now. This did have good coverage though so i do like it.

Now eyes are my favorite Part . i love defining my eyes and making them pop , i always start out with a primer (urban decay primer potion) if i am using any shadows and i always use a paint pot as my base .
- MAC paint pot " rubenesque" - I love this to death , i bought my first MAC haul for christmas last year because its just so damn expensive and im not the richest of people, so for christmas i just asked for money towards my little haul and this was one of the items that topped my list. its such a pretty color  (rosy golden shimmer ) and any time i wear browns this is whats under it . Also it has great staying power and has NEVER creased on me.
- Benefit creaseless cream shadow "rsvp"- This is so pretty its a shimmery champage that pretty much goes with anything but i like to wear this under purples and dusty cooler colors , it just gives colors that extra pop .

i have alot of shadows in gift pallets and the ones that i use almost daily are just amazing.
- Too Faced Natural eye kit - This is just an amazing kit ! it has 9 corresponding shades that can all go with one another all neutrals for that perfume neutral eye . i would say my most used shadows of the kit  are : Push up ( light bronze shimmer) & heaven ( matte ivory ).
- Cover girl eye enhancing quad " pure romance " - i have been pretty much wearing this quad every day now it gives a soft romantic smoky effect with a dusty purple , light lavender, shimmery white and a muted brown . any time ive worn this ive gotten asked what i used and how i did it !

i used to be on the hunt for the perfect eye liner and out of all the make up i have a majority of it is eye liners. but now im not as picky anymore i just need a black liquid liner and a black or dark brown khol pencil and im good :)
-Rimmel eye brow pencil " dark brown" - my brows are just not my best friend , they are dark at the start but then turn bright blonde right after the arch so unless i draw them in my eye brows look pretty short . ive tried many eye brow pencils in every color , blonde just doesn't look right , light brown makes my brows look red so i went for a dark brown and its worked out just great and it has a brush at the end so thats a plus for blending !
-maybelline line stiletto liquid liner - i cant get the hang of brush liners and ive been too afraid to use gel liners so a felt tip liquid liner is just fine for me :) this is a good one and it has good staying power but is easy to take off .
-milani easy liner "espresso"- its just a simple khol liner but its really nice on the waterline and i like to smoke it out in the outer corners of my bottom lash line .

i dont like spending alot of money on mascaras so i stick to drug store ones
and lately ive been liking :
- Maybelline one by one Volume express- it good at giving my lashes volume and separating them but i like length in my lashes so its not what im looking for but it is nice.
-Maybelline falsies - this mascara is amazing it lengthens and gives volume but it does tend to clump. all in all my favorite mascara even though the applicator is kinda weird

Pretty Spring Body Splashes

i know we are all sick of it being cold and snowy ,we are ready for spring. The best part of the transition from winter to spring is getting ready for the warmer weather with lighter clothes brighter colors and floral fruity fragrances . i had to return a shirt at the mall today and couldn't resist finding some new body splashes that remind me of spring :)

Bath & Body works just came out with some new scents for their well known collections ;The ones that caught my eye were Secret Wonderland & Carried Away , Both very Fruity .

Secret Wonderland: Master perfumers have blended luscious strawberry and frosted jasmine petals with magical notes of white amber and creamy sandalwood to create this whimsical fragrance inspired by a world you never dreamed existed. 

-i think that is a pretty good description of this scent , it has faint amber and you can defiantly smell the strawberry but there is a raspberry smell to it with a hint of warm vanilla. its more of a night time kinda body splash but because its a splash it will be lighter then a rich night time fragrance.

Carried Away: Lavishly spritz our refreshing fragrance mist all over your body to leave skin lightly scented with our exclusive Carried Away, a whimsical blend of lush raspberries, white jasmine and whipped vanilla inspired by the way love sweeps you off your feet. 

-SO this one smells a lot like sweet pea but with some vanilla and a hint of raspberry , this is defiantly a spring scent ! its very very sweet and i personally like this one better then secret wonderland :)  

I also went by Victorias secret because i really wanted to smell some of their perfumes , lotions and body splashes cause i never really showed interest in their beauty stuff and i read some reviews on a few collections and really wanted to check them out. so i really like the secret moments collection , out of the collection i LOVED  good day sunshine, kissing in paris , & island escape.

Good day sunshine: Blue skies. Pink shoes. A good hair day. Just add bright peach and blue freesia.
-This is my favorite body splash i got , it is the perfect combination of light peach and freesia . it reminds me so much of walking down town in spring with the sweet smells of the air , trees , and flowers all in bloom . This is a great Fruity but clean scent i wish it came in a perfume so the scent would last longer and be stronger :)


Kissing in paris: Discover the thrill of love, laughter and lots of ooh la la in this crisp floral scent.
-This one reminds me of a cool spring morning with dew on the grass and fresh iris. its a beautiful scent if i ever went to paris i'd expect it to smell like this ; its pure romance. kissing in paris is  so Fresh and floral i cant stress enough how much i love this :)

Island escape:Crystal blue water and sun on bare skin captured in a warm scent. A breath of fresh ocean air mixed with beachy coconut and sugarcane.
-This scent is 100 % summer . i love the smell of coconuty suntan lotion , that is my favorite scent of summer and the mix of coconut and sugar cane makes for a sweet beachy smell . if you don't like coconut then i don't think this is for you but if you do you'll wish it was summer real fast. i didn't get the body splash of this but i did get the lotion and i'm so pleased with it , it is very moisturizing and i'm very picky about lotions ; it isn't greasy and it made my skin silky and took care of my dry hands .
